We are The Compass School of Texas
Rooted in our core values of community, family, leadership, purpose, and resilience, The Compass School of Texas is a private school located in the heart of Dallas, TX and we are offering enrollment in Pre-kindergarten through fourth grade for the fall of 2025. We plan to expand our campus to offer enrollment in Pre-kindergarten through Eighth Grade by adding a grade each year. Our vision is driven by our mission.
Mission The Compass School of Texas equips students with a strong academic foundation that fosters analytical thinking, instills the joy of learning in a wholesome environment, and inspires the pursuit of purpose.
If you are a native Texan or you are moving to Dallas, welcome to the admission process! We are here to help you and your family. This co-ed independent school offers small classes that are designed to engage young children in real-world simulations to develop fine motor skills, financial literacy skills, and emotional intelligence, as well as inspire creativity, instill a moral compass, and improve their Spanish and English-speaking and writing abilities. Each student and parent will develop an inclusive group of friends that feel like family. At Compass, students are more willing to try new things and take risks because they know they have supportive teachers and peers around them.
About our Lower School and our Community
Students can start learning at Compass as early as age four (must be four years old by September 1). Our students are excited and encouraged to try new things and to take risks with the support of their teachers and peers. In elementary school or preschool, we believe a school should be a place full of joy, growth, and preparation. Every day is filled with excitement and discovery as each student finds his or her own love of learning. Our open and collaborative community is driven by empathy and inclusion to help our students, parents, and faculty thrive. We believe in transparency and we hope that a child's educational journey is something the whole family can enjoy. By inviting parents into our classrooms, we can share some of the most precious and triumphant moments that parents may not see at home. We have an amazing community waiting to meet you and your whole family.
